3D drawings

Accident reconstruction software and CAD programs are able to use 3D drawings of vehicles.
AUTOVIEW contains only a few 3D DXF files. Internet shops offer a large number of 3D vehicle models that have been made for computer games.
These 3D models show significant deviations from the original vehicle in the front and rear bumpers, the shape of the mirrors, door handles and roof rails. For only a visual presentation this might be sufficient, but definitely not for collision analysis and compatibility checks of damages.
The AUTOVIEW on demand product 3D-DXF meets the stringent internal criteria of accuracy and is specially produced for the simulation of detailed questions (external shape for pedestrian crash and seats and interior design to check the occupant movements in simulation).
