software compatibility

The car drawings of Autoview are available in various formats and are therefore compatible with a wide range of software products.

The Drawing Exchange Format (DXF) was created by AUTODESK long ago. We use the AUTOCAD® 2000 DXF file format that was new in 2000 to achieve compatibility to older software versions without loosing good handling and fast performance.

The AUTOVIEW dxf-vehicle drawings can be used hazelfree in simulation software like PC-Crash®, Analyzer Pro®, CARAT®, V-Sim®.

Desktop Publishing Software, like COREL®, Gimp®, Word® and other graphics software need the installation of the appropriate import filters to handle the drawings. There might still be some troubles with scaling, colouring and block/layer functions - but just simple presentation will work flawless.
